Dr. Intissar Saleem Al-Qalib, Chairperson of the Arab Coordination Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, addressed the second edition of the conference held in the Sahrawi refugee camp. The discussions focused on the crucial role of Arab nations in supporting the Sahrawi struggle.

During the conference, an encouraging surge in support and heightened awareness of the Sahrawi cause was revealed, despite widespread media blackout in various countries. Dr. Al-Qalib presented a paper emphasizing solidarity and urging Arab nations to take an active stance on the issue.

Challenges faced by Arab nations and supporters in expressing their unwavering support for the Sahrawi people were also deliberated. The conference shed light on a significant topic, addressing the assistance provided to Sahrawi students studying in Libya and ensuring the issuance of their university degrees.

Moreover, there was a collective demand to establish a Libyan friendship association dedicated to the Sahrawi people, under the supervision of the Arab Coordination Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People.

The conference witnessed a remarkable display of harmony, unity, and a powerful alliance among Arab nations, all dedicated to raising awareness about the plight of the Sahrawi people. Their ultimate goal is to empower the Sahrawi people to exercise their right to self-determination, and to celebrate alongside them on their own land—an authentic Arab celebration of justice and liberation.
