El Aaiun, Occupied Western Sahara
October 5, 2024-Following the historic ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) to annul trade agreements between the European Union and Morocco due to their inclusion of the occupied Western Sahara territories, Equipe Media has conducted interviews with Sahrawi activists and citizens to gather their perspectives on this matter.
We reached out to Sahrawi citizens across the occupied territories to collect their reactions and opinions regarding the court’s ruling. Our goal is to highlight the significant impact of the court’s decision on their struggle for self-determination.
We aim to broadcast video statements from Sahrawis, allowing them to directly convey their thoughts on this legal development and reflect the sentiments of the Sahrawi people regarding the court’s ruling and how it strengthens their demands for sovereignty and control over their natural resources.
