President of the Sahrawi Prisoners Protection Association, expresses his satisfaction with the European Court’s ruling on Western Sahara

Abderahman Zayou, President of the Sahrawi Prisoners Protection Association, has expressed his satisfaction with the recent ruling by the European Court of Justice.
The court rejected appeals made by the European Commission and the Council of the European Union to continue their fisheries and agriculture agreements with Morocco as it includes Western Sahara .
Zayou sees this as a significant victory for the Sahrawi people in their ongoing struggle for self-determination and independence. He emphasized that the ruling reaffirms the legal status of Western Sahara as an occupied territory and that its resources belong exclusively to the Sahrawi people.
